Ontario County’s EVENT CENTER

The Greater Canandaigua Civic Center opened in 1992 and welcomes over 40,000 visitors annually. Located in the scenic Finger Lakes Region in the City of Canandaigua, New York, the GCCC offers 17,000 square feet of unobstructed space with seating for 700 to 1,000 spectators and guests, along with parking for over 200 vehicles. Each spring & summer, we host several community events in our large event space.

MOTORCYCLE SWAP MEET

Each spring we often host a Motorcycle Swap Meet for riders to buy, sell, and trade equipment. With tons of space, lots of vendors, food, and more it’s a great way to kick off the spring!

GEM & MINERAL SHOWS

During the spring and summer months we often host a few different gem & mineral shows from multiple organizations that bring in tons of vendors, food, and plenty of activity to keep you busy!

SUMMER SPORTS

In the summer months, we’ve previously hosted sporting practices, clinics, camps, and games that don’t require an ice surface. Whether that’s indoor soccer, box lacrosse, fitness boot camps, inline roller hockey, and many more.

ROLLER SKATING

When the ice has melted away, there’s still a way for our favorite skating patrons to keep their skills sharp through our open roller skating sessions. Much like our winter open skating, our summer roller skating offers that same great atmosphere, rental skates, and a great time with friends.

ANTIQUE SHOWS

With over 65 dealers showcasing textiles, furniture, Americana, folk art, jewelry, pottery, and much more; the frequently held Canandaigua Antique Show is an amazing and highly entertaining experience for summertime visitors.

HOT TUB SHOWS

As the summer days grow shorter, it’s time to start thinking about those colder nights again. Visiting a Hot Tub show at the Greater Canandaigua Civic Center is a great way to see a huge selection of products that will have you feeling warm when the fall temperatures arrive.

THE CIRCUS

Every so often, the circus comes to town! A fun night of family entertainment is never more nostalgic than spending time at the circus! See the wonderments of the amazing performers, and build memories filled with childhood laughter watching the circus.

MMA MATCHES

The excitement of an MMA match is hard to beat, and when big events like this come to town, you don’t want to miss them. Which fighter will come out victorious? Sure, you could find out in the news the next day, but what’s better than watching in person?!
