2020-21 GCCC Learn To Skate Session 3, 1-2 to 2-13

Welcome to the 2020-21 Learn to Skate USA Registration with GCCC!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, sign consents and submit payment for session 3. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Learn to Skate USA membership number (see below for details).

Saturdays: (12:30 pm - 1:30 pm)

Cost $108

Price includes professional instruction for 6 sessions, ice rental, use of facility skates with $15 refundable deposit.

Maximum Class Size is 18

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

 

Welcome to the 2020-21 Fall session of Learn to Skate USA classes offered by GCCC. We are looking forward to a wonderful season of fun and learning. We are requiring on-line registration. Steps are outlined below. Please do not hesitate to contact us at programs@gccc.org with any questions.

 

Before registering for GCCC Learn to Skate USA Fall Session at www.gccc.org, all participants must obtain a Learn to Skate USA membership number by registering on-line at www.LearntoSkateUSA.com. This membership number will be required in order to complete your GCCC on-line registration.

 

REGISTRATION PROCESS

  1. Register with Learn to Skate USA to get your Learn to Skate membership number. Follow link to Learn to Skate website (www.LearntoSkateUSA.com) and follow instructions to join program. At the end of process, you will receive a membership number, which you will need for GCCC Learn to Skate USA registration through GCCC website. A small annual membership fee of $17.25 will need to be made at Learn to Skate USA to become a member of this national program. (This is the same fee that has always been required and collected in registration. The only difference is members join and pay Learn to Skate USA directly). Benefits of this membership can be found through their website.
  2. Go to www.gccc.org to begin registration in our GCCC Learn to Skate USA program.
  3. Select Register Online from left vertical menu bar.
  4. Scroll to find the GCCC Learn to Skate USA session you wish to join and select program to begin registration.
  5. You will be asked to sign in to your GCCC account to continue with registration
    1. If you have an account, enter your account credentials and continue
    2. If you do not have an account, follow instructions provided to create your account
  6. Complete ALL questions in registration process. Don’t forget to enter your new Learn to Skate membership number when asked. This is required to join our program and receive instruction at GCCC.
  7. For your convenience, payment can be made using our secure on-line system or we will accept payment by check, cash or credit at our facility in advance of attending your first class.

 

In addition, we will have on-line registration available at GCCC if this level of assistance is required.

Finally, if you prefer paper registration we will gladly provide this method as in the past.

2020-21 Monday Night Hockey (Nixon)

Start Date: Monday, September 28th

Cost per Program: $405.00 for season paid in two installments (below)

Installment 1: $200 due by 10/5/20

Installment 2: $205 due by 1/4/21

Sub Cost: $20 per skate

 

This is an adult no contact/checking hockey program. No officiating. Music is played. Full equipment is required (helmet, shoulder pads, pants, shin pads, elbow pads and of course.. skates). Please ensure you read and sign all agreements on the registration form.

Payment Details:

1.   $405 for the season paid in two installments; $200 on 10/5/20 and $205 on 1/4/2021

2020-21 Thursday Zamboni League

Program is designed for beginner to intermediate hockey skills. This is a weekly adult co-ed group that meets every Thursday night through the season. You must be 18 years old to play. This is a no checking program. Full equipment is required (helmet, shoulder pads, pants, shin pads, elbow pads, gloves, and of course.. skates). Please ensure you read and sign off on all agreements on the registration form

Cost is $340 for 23 weeks paid in full up on-line in two installments. Otherwise it is $15 per night/session.

  • Installment 1: $170 due on 10/8/20
  • Installment 2: $170 due on 1/7/21

 

  *(Group does not skate on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve or New Years Eve)

Only two full time goalies will be allowed to register.

Thursday, 10/8 thru 3/25   9:30pm-10:50pm


Walk-ins are allowed on a substitute basis ONLY. You will need the name of the player you are subbing for and the cost is $15.00 to skate for the night.

You will need to sign the waiver of liability form which is available in the main office.

 

If you are a more advanced player, we will be willing to allow a limited number of you to play, under the following conditions:

  • You must play down to the level of skaters on the ice. You will be expected to pass the puck and NO hot dogging will be allowed.

Any violation of this agreement will result in your suspension from the program with NO REFUND.

The program size will be limited to a total of 32. This includes two full time goalies, and 30 skaters. All registrations after that number, will be put on a waitlist, in case someone drops or does not pay, etc. Substitute rules are listed above. If you register for goalie then its considered full time position. If more than 2 goalies register, it will be taken on a date/time you registered. Any additional goalies would be used as subs if needed for a goalie who cannot come a particular night.

2020-21 Tuesday Adult Beginner Hockey with Coach Como

Program is designed for beginner adult hockey players. This is a weekly adult co-ed league that meets every Tuesday night through the season. This program is meant for the older beginner hockey players and is lead by Coach Como. It is a no check league. Full equipment is required (helmet, shoulder pads, pants, shin pads, elbow pads and of course.. skates). Please ensure you read and sign off on all agreements on the registration form.

Cost is $240 for 20 weeks paid in full up front (Savings of $60). Otherwise it is $15 per night/session which equals $300 for season.

Please register through the website regardless of payment choice. Payment can be taken through website registration or in person at Civic Center. If you choose to pay at facility or are paying weekly, please register and skip payment screen when presented. Thank you.

Season begins Tuesday, 11/3. Session time is 9:30pm to 10:50pm.
